Partner/Creative Director

Mark has been in the advertising, marketing and branding field in Indianapolis for more than 35 years. A graduate of Ball State University, Mark’s career has spanned over four decades as a copywriter, creative director, agency partner and freelance writer/producer before joining forces with Ken to create Carrel-Haupt Group, Inc.


Mark has worked on a diverse portfolio of accounts including: Simon Property Group, St. Vincent Health, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, Williams Comfort Air, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Langham Logistics, Delta Faucet, Kiwanis International, IVY Tech State College, The University of Indianapolis and many others.


His work has been honored with countless awards, including: Local/Regional/National Addy awards, Telly awards, Golden Mic, National Educational Marketing Awards and Healthcare Advertising Awards to name just a few.  Mark is married and lives in Westfield, Indiana.

Ken is a seasoned strategic marketing professional with over 25 years of experience working with clients in various industries to develop strategies and plans that do more than just look good on paper… they drive revenue growth.


Prior to starting Carrel-Haupt/Group, LLC, Ken spent twelve years leading the strategic and account services team for a Carmel, Indiana-based advertising/marketing firm.  In this role, Ken worked with a diverse client mix providing brand management and strategic marketing guidance to their organizations. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Marketing for OrthoIndy, a large orthopedic specialty practice of 60+ surgeons; and, in various roles within the marketing department at St. Vincent Health in Indianapolis.  Ken is a 1988 graduate of Ball State University.


When working with clients, Ken values integrity and honesty.  He is extremely dedicated and loyal to his clients, friends and family.  Ken is married, has two grown children and lives in Carmel, Indiana.
